Evaluation Report of ODW activities |

An
evaluation of the whole ODW programme was conducted recently
and the final report titled ‘Evaluation of Operation Day’s
Work (ODW) programme Sri Lanka’ was prepared in February
2006. |

|
The
aim of the evaluation was to clarify its direction and get
independent assessment of the activities of the ODW programme. The
evaluation’s purpose is to learn lessons and get a feedback redesign
the activities of the ODW programme, if necessary. |

The
evaluation team collected data and information required
mainly by field visits to all eight partner organizations.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Group
discussions, interviews with beneficiaries and discussions
with the officials of the POs were held and also SWOT
analysis of the performance of POs. |
|
|
|
|
|
The
independent evaluation team comprised from Mr. Mohamed Ghani Razaak
and Mr. R.M. Ariyaratne both from University of Peradeniya. |
