  - Maintain 104 youth clubs
  - Enrolled 370 new youth memberships
  - 53 catchments conserved and maintained
  - 270 youth studied Tamil and Sinhala language
  - Conducted seminar and educational support for the 900 students
  - 64 youths gained vocational training
  - Established 245 organic home gardens
  - Established 9 networks facilitated

  - Conduct  awareness programs  for  CBO leaders and Parents activities.
  - Conduct Eco/ peace education and follow up programmes
  - Mmaintaining street drama teams
  - Conduct training camps on Leadership and cadetship and follow up
  - Conduct Conflict resolution /DNH  Follow-up programme
  - Conduct  seminars and educational support  for  O/L/High education students
  - Special education support
  - Exposure /exchange visits among the youth forums /North and eastern  partners

 Kinniya Vision (KV)

  - 75 youth received skills needed for employment through vocational training
  - 15 Youth clubs further strengthened
  - 55 youths developed communication skills in different languages

  - Mobilization, sensitization and organising of youths
  - Consultation and joint planning with youths
  - Vocational training need assessment
  - Survey/Identification and selection of school dropouts and school leavers who needs vocational training
  - Selection and designing vocational training package
  - Career guidance/orientation for trainees and parents
  - Conducting vocational skills trainings
  - Facilitating jobs search or self income generation activities for trained youths
  - Formation and Strengthening youth clubs
  - Conduct language training for youths
  - Conduct peace building promotion program
  - Design and implement organizational capacity building programmes

 North East Rehabilitation Training and Research Association (NERTRA)

   
¨ Results expected in the year 2011
  - 196 students are re-admitted and 84 students continue for the second year
  - 14 teachers received training in order to provide catch-up eduction
  - Further strengthening of existing 9 youth clubs
   
¨ Activities to achieve above result
   
  1. Catch-up education
  - Discussions with education authorities and get approvals
  - Selection of the beneficiaries for catch up education
  - Teacher trainings
  - Parents meeting
  - Starting the catch up education classes
  - Providing the teaching and students materials
  - Field visit and monitoring (NERTRA, Principal and Education Dept officials)
   
  2. Youth activities
  - Conducting monthly meetings
  - Conducting art competition

  - 290 youth received catch up education in order to return to schools
  - Youth received skills needed for employment
  - Strengthening of 10 youth clubs
   
¨ Activities to achieve above result
  - Conducting periodical project staff meetings
  - Conducting stake holders meeting with the following   in the starting of the project
  - Conducting parent’s awareness
  - Conducting teachers’ training.
  - Conducting youth activities such as Friendly matches (Cricket, Netball, Elle),
  - Youth exchange program
  - Cultural Program

  - 45 students are graduated with non-agricultural vocational training.

  - Selection of trainees to all courses and commencement of courses

  VT Courses available in 2011: Motorcycle mechanics and Beauty culture
  VT Courses continue from 2010: House wiring and plumbing, Food Processing, Household electrical appliance repairs, Beauty culture, Bakery course and sewing course
