The brief need
assessments done by the partner organizations of ODW show that a
large number of youth are psychologically disturbed due to the impacts
of war. This is one of the main problems affecting the youth in
the post war era. The identification and treatment of psycho-traumatic
youths is not a developed subject in Sri Lanka, and as a result,
the identification of them is not a complete process. |

Trauma healing
is proposed in the project as an integrated part and the youth will
be treated as a holistic person and given support in life skills
necessary for becoming self-reliance adults. |

psycho-traumatic support for 1775 youth in need of such support by
